Macs have always shipped with curl, I believe, but Apple hasn't shipped
wget for many years. AFAIK it has always been ssl-enabled, too, so I'm
puzzled as to what's going on. I've followed the traffic on the TL list,
but didn't see anything that I needed to take action on (except shipping
a new TLU with an updated list of mirrors).
