[OS X TeX] Latex file locks

Hi Dick,

The "bad" file gives

CHE-TM5178-2:Latex Files themis$ xattr -p com.apple.FinderInfo che524_BAD.tex
00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 04 06 00 00 00 00 00 00
00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00

I copy/pasted the contents of "che524_BAD.tex" into  a new file, "che524.tex".  This file is saved properly and gives no xattr:

CHE-TM5178-2:Latex Files themis$ xattr -p com.apple.FinderInfo che524.tex
xattr: che524.tex: No such xattr: com.apple.FinderInfo

Since I now have a properly behaving file this is no longer an issue for me, but it was strange...
