[yandytex] [WinEdt] ps2pdf not working with YandY TeX configuration

Murray,

I also "translated" my Y&Y TeX installation to another computer the same way
you did and
found WinEDT acting strangely. Further investigation showed that the problem
was  in
the way WinEDT set some paths up -- stuff like '%b\Exec\ps2pdf.edt' in
winedt.ini.
I tried to fix the paths by hand, editing the winedt.ini file,  without any
success.
Apparently, WinEDT sets these paths in the registry during its installation
procedure
and the only way to fix them was to install WinEDT over the "translated"
one,
assigning the right paths when requested by the installation.

Perhaps this would be the explanation for the strange behaviors you are
finding...
