Sorry for the delay on this topic. I got busy. :-)
To recapitulate, I'm having a compatibility problem between yandytex and
psfrag. The substitution texts are coming out reflected vertically.
The problem is definitely not with my tex files, as the the same thing
occurs when I try to run the doc file distributed with psfrag.
I've tried this on two different systems: my primary machine (windows
2000), which still has yandy 2.1 installed, and a second machine (windows
xp), which has a completely fresh installation of yandy 2.2 on it. The only
things in common between the two installations are the dviwindo.ini and the
font set (the public domain computer modern set).
I wonder if the problem is in my dviwindo.ini.
Anyhow, I've always had this compatibility problem between yandy and
psfrag, but the tex files process without trouble with dvips.
