The Euro symbol is needed badly

I have been looking at this "old" messages on the Euro symbol and I am
confused. I am using vers. 2.2.2 and purchased the Lucida fonts seperate.
When I look in DVIWindo, I also have the Euro symbol (as described by Erwin
P.). I also have lbr.pfb but do not have lsr.pfb and am unable to use the
\texteuro command.

I would like to also be able to use the Euro symbol --- How can this
problem be corrected?
