BibTeX runs fine on my system with

BibTeX=c:\yandy\bibtex\bibtex.exe  @

in the dviwindo.ini file, as Robin suggests.

Also, replacing

\citation{McDaniel_1}

with

\cite{McDaniel_1}

might help.
