Hallo Derek,

thank you for your reply. Could you please answer one more question? You
write: "I have not had any font related problems with YandY installed as
per the directions that came with my version 2.2". Now my question:
Installing the fonts (before installing the TeX system)

did you choose the option
(1a) Install fonts in Windows 2000 Pro
on the YandY CD as it is also said in the Smaller Manual, Section 2,
second paragraph,
or
did you proceed as it is said in the
Smaller Manual, Section 2.2: opening the psfonts folder on the YandY CD
in one window  and the c:\winnt\fonts folder
in another window and dragging and dropping the .pmf files from the
first into the second window
or
did you proceed in this way: Start, Control Panel, open Fonts Folder,
select File, select Install New Fonts
?
