Christina,

Thanks for your input, but as you will see below, the problem lies
elsewhere.

I did something a little different: I took the graphics files from my latest
CTAN disk and placed them in

            c:\yandy\tex\latex\required\graphics

(I believe these files were always there.)

This was the first thing I checked when I noticed that Y&YTeX was not
working properly with 'graphicx.' These have always been in place.

In brief, the installation in XP seems to be all there.

I just installed my copy of Y&YTeX on another computer running Windows ME.
Again, the system will not deal with the following sorts of commands:

\usepackage{epsfig}
\usepackage{graphicx}

\graphicspath{{./figures/chapter15/}}

\begin{figure}
\setkeys{Gin}{width=10cm}
\centerline{
\includegraphics{fig15.01.01.eps}
}
\end{figure}

When I originally bought my copy of Y&YTeX, Louis sent me a patch to fix
this problem. Now Louis and the patch are both gone.

I have not checked to see if the system works with the old 'graphics'
interface.
