[XeTeX] Font protrusion --- new or old ?

OK I understand your point. Nevertheless, I can tell you that the MATH
table works as expected (people use the math font I created with
FontForge with MS Word and XeLaTeX with no problem) and
the contextual and other features work as expected. In addition,
recent versions include a language, much similar to the one FontLab users
can use to specify features. So now one can use a GUI and a "programming"
language to specify features. Personally, I have to say that I have played with
a demo version of FontLab, but I did not like it. For me FontForge has more
capabilities and a better user interface. And now that its hinting algorithms are
very much improved, I believe it is an excellent tool.
