[XeTeX] wrong font match and missing characters

After upgrading XeTeX for Linux to 0.994a, I have discovered that
XeLaTeX has problems to handle fonts in the following document:
\documentclass[12pt]{article}
\usepackage[latin]{babel}
\usepackage{fontspec,xunicode}
\setromanfont{GFS Didot Rg}
\begin{document}
Puellae bonae amicae sunt.
χαλεπὰ τὰ καλά.
\end{document}
Although it worked fine with version 0.992, now the roman version is
replaced with the bold one and Greek glyphs seem to be missing from the
font (log file attached).
Both regular and bold versions include Greek glyphs
(http://www.greekfontsociety.org/pages/en_typefaces.html)
I hope it helps,
Pablo
