As a test I've just run XeLaTeX on a legacy document of mine, making
heavy use of hyperref (originally with dvips + ps2pdf). There are a
number of things that don't work, but that's probably due to the many
packages used by, and customizations in, this document, rather than to
XeLaTeX itself.
However, I've noted two things which I think are more general:
- XeTeX doesn't seem to accept to process files with non ASCII
characters in their name. For a file named Spécifs-web-utf8.tex, in
TeXShop, I get in the console window:
This is XeTeXk, Version 3.14159-2.1-0.87 (Web2C 7.5.2)
%&-line parsing enabled.
entering extended mode
! I can't find file `Speᅩチcifs-web-utf8.tex'.
<*> Speᅩチcifs-web-utf8.tex
Please type another input file name:
- At the end of the run, for a file named Specifs-web-utf8.tex (without
accent this time), I get:
[52] [53] [54] [55] [56] (./Specifs-web-utf8.aux)Can't locate
