You're right; sorry, this is something I know about but hadn't gotten
around to fixing yet.

Grrrr! The OS X Perl installation apparently doesn't include the
"Compress::Zlib" module by default, and I didn't bundle it. If you're
comfortable messing with your Perl installation, you could download it
from CPAN yourself. But anyway, I'll bundle it with the XeTeX installer
and post a new version. Hope to get it done tomorrow.
