[UK-TUG] Structure of the SGM

Dear Members

I've just skim-read the email from Jay. It's long and has many details.
He's done right to report to you what's happening to you. Thank you, Jay.
Prior to his email, Jay had discussion with myself and others.

I've set up a second list (which is unofficial) for the procedural
discussions. so that the official list
https://tug.org/pipermail/uktug-announce/2021q4/ can focus without
distraction on substantive issues.

I'll administer the second list so that posts are accepted only from
members of UK TUG, and any such members can post to the list. Like
uktug-announce, this list is publicly viewable.

I set this list up yesterday, and told Jay about it. He didn't at that time
respond to my invitation, that we move the procedural discussions on the
structure of the SGM to the second list.

I've sent Jay's message and my present message to the second list. You can
see them at https://groups.google.com/g/not-uk-tug-2021-sgm

I'll respect any consensus that emerges, regarding our using this second
procedural list for discussion of Jay's email and similar messages.
