[UK-TUG] On TUG and DANTE acceptance of funds from UK TUG

Hi

Recently the committee mail list was told that TUG has agreed in principle
to accept a donation from UK TUG provided there were "no strings attached",
and that DANTE has not yet responded to a similar request.

This information clearly affects the decisions to be made at the SGM and
their practical consequences. I think particularly of the motions from
David Saunders and Howard Vie.

Motions to the SGM close at 23:59 on Thursday 14 October (see
