Respected Sirs
Greetings, I am prabakaran doing full time research in the Bishop Heber College, Tamil nadu (Trichy-India). Would you please help me in knowing the way to use Prosper effectively for presentations? I will be thankful to you if you send me any materials to learn the way of using Prosper (in LaTeX) for presentations.
Yours truthfully

Hi, Everyone,
Thanks for your help with "Margins 1in all round".
I got nice results with: \usepackage[margin=1in]{geometry}. In the DVI the
margins were like almost 1.25in but when I printed it the left margin was
smaller than the right one. I do not know what to do now. The other
suggestions had margins which were slightly different. Any suggestions?
Thanks again for help.
Regards,
D.Owen

Here is how I use it:
1) Put the command \usepackage{epstopdf}
before \begin{document}
2) Include the .eps graphic file with \includegraphics command as usual.
2) Enable shell interaction with --enable-shell (or something like
that). For example,
pdflatex --enable-shell test.tex.
I do not remember the exact pdflatex option now because I have created
a latex command in auctex that enables shell interaction. You can
always find the correct option by typing pdflatex --help in the command
line.
Hope this helps.

Try printing a test page that comes with the tex distribution.
This test page prints a black square. You can adjust your printer
output accordingly. I have forgotten the details now. You can
look at the UKTUG FAQ for details.

You probably missed the context.
Try t.tex
\documentclass[a4paper]{article}
\usepackage[margin=1in]{geometry}
\begin{document}
bla bla bla ... %repeat a 1000 times!
\end{document}
Compile as follows:
latex t.tex
dvips -t a4 -P pdf t.dvi -o
ps2pdf -sPAPERSIZE=a4 t.ps
Notice the papersizes mentioned in t.tex, dvips and ps2pdf. This gives
me ~1in with an error of 1/32in margins around the bla bla bla ....
Regards.
