The LaTeX companion is a great series of books, but unfortunately
there is no Indian Edition. Most TeX distributions come with good
documentation. You can order books some LaTeX books online from
www.sapnaonline.com.

I have no idea about the stores in Kolkata or Thiruvananthapuram.
