dear sir
i have a peculiar prob;lem. this was working fine.
today i entered a new entry under nomenclature, ran
latex, ran makeindex, then latex again as usual. the
mesage was that the new entry had a runaway argument.
i removed the offending entry, saved and then started
the whole process. the entry refuses to go away and
the warning stays. on running under `r' command, the
dvi file is only partially made and the message is
that the \end{document} has ocurred inside multicol
environment.
the most baffling part is why the erased entry refuses
to go away after deletion. i have tried closing the
session and starting a new session again, it does not
help
please help
