Subject: Re: [Tugindia] One column material in two column document
Dear Kalidoss,
I faced one problem in cuted.sty package. In two column document(using
book.cls), text followed by "strip environment", the error message shows
"Improper \prevdepth".
ex.
This is sample text.This is sample text.This is sample text.This is sample
text.This is sample text.\begin{strip}
...
\end{strip}
please find and rectify this problem...
bye
Goutham

Dear All,
Some time ago there was a request in the forum for a method to have material
spanning two columns of a document.
Today I have come across **cuted.sty** which just fulfils this requirement.
Those interested may try cuted.sty
