[tlu] Question about PGP signature check

Good day,

I recently downloaded MacTEX and when setting up TeX Live Utility I came across the prompt that you can have the PGP signature of the packages verified. I agreed but did not see any more hints after that.
I'm not overly tech savvy and would now have the question of whether I still need to install or set up anything myself so that the signatures can be checked, or if this is all automatic after the prompt at the beginning. And if there is a way to check the status of the verification.
