I forgot, for clarity: I did not get a Sparkle message that a new TLU version was available, I found the new version directly by looking at the GitHub repository as I was performing a systematic update round of all the apps on my Mac.

This may simply be a bad timing issue, namely that I looked there before Sparkle had the opportunity to do its thing. Based on the logs, I used TLU on December 31 (1.37b13) and January 4 (1.40), nothing in between.
