[tlu] can't add repository in 1.50b1

Howdy,

I've been usng 1.50b1 for a while with no problems.

Today I tried to add <https://ctan.math.utah.edu/ctan/tex-archive/systems/texlive/tlnet/> (Notice the https://) to the TeX Live Repository List but clicking the + button did nothing.
