[tlbuild] TL pretest

I have installed current pretest TL2012 on several systems. Each time I 
try to "update" with tlmgr I have

$ tlmgr update --list
tlmgr: The TeX Live versions supported by the repository
   (2010--2011)
do not include the version of the local installation
   (2012).

What am I missing? In pretest stage, one cannot update as usually...?

For the installation I have a local copy of the repository

$ rsync -avz --delete  tug.org::texlive/tlpretest/ /work/tlpretest_repo

$ /work/tlpretest_repo/install-tl

For the installation directory I choose /usr/local/texlive and not the 
default /usr/local/texlive/2012
