Yes (unless you installed TeX Live via MacPorts in which case it
compiled 64-bit binary with limited funcitonality).

I already requested disabling XeTeX build on 64-bit Macs, but the
official answer (that I totally agree with) was that mac
users/developers should rather be annoyed until the issue is fixed (=
new code is written to replace deprecated libraries).
