[texworks] Makeindex with an ist file

I have no problem running makeindex from the command line using an ist file:
   C:\math\surprises\sv>makeindex -s svind.ist surprises

Running makeindex in TeXworks without the ist file is successful. But I get
errors when I add the argument -s svind.ist in the tool configuration menu.
I tried adding both before and after $basename, and with and without
quotes, but I always get error messages like "Expected -s <stylefile>" or
"Index style file surprises not found".
