[texworks] Problem - Crashed Thread: 0 Dispatch queue: com.apple.main-thread

First, I'm not familiar with miktex or Mac set up, but---

under configuration info, near the bottom of your post, isn't it odd to see
> pdfTeX location  : not found

Perhaps pdfTeX is not installed, or is in an unusual location, or 
texworks needs the path to pdfTeX?

My apologies if this is a false lead, but it looked immediately suspect.
