Dear Missy Miru,
please ask on the MiKTeX mailing list.  The problem isn't TeXworks
related at all.  You don't even use "texworks" but "miktex-texworks",
which obviously is a fork and thus not supported by TeXworks
developers.

Either consult MiKTeX developers (it's definitely a MiKTeX issue) or
simply use MacTeX

instead.  I recommend MacTeX for many reasons.

BTW, it's also quite strange that mails from a forked version of
TeXworks (miktex-texworks vs. texworks) appear on this mailing list at
all.  I would expect that "miktex-texworks" sends mails to the MiKTeX
mailing list by default.  Nobody on this list is responsible for
MiKTeX.
