First, I'm not familiar with miktex or Mac set up, but---<br>

under configuration info, near the bottom of your post, isn't it odd
to see<br>
<blockquote type="cite">pdfTeX location : not found</blockquote>
<br>
Perhaps pdfTeX is not installed, or is in an unusual location, or
texworks needs the path to pdfTeX?<br>
<br>
My apologies if this is a false lead, but it looked immediately
suspect.<br>
