Yes. These are the 14 base fonts that every PDF viewer should have built
in (or suitable, i.e. metrically equivalent, replacements, anyway)

Since poppler is only a library, it apparently is in the responsibility
of the app using it to make sure those fonts are available.

>From my personal experience, this has worked for all except the
ZapfDingbats font. But on your system, this does not seem to the case... :(
