[texworks] graphics problem

I forgot to answer your question.
Yes, if I reload the tex file, the problem persists. So the error lies in
the display of an existing pdf-file, which Adobe Acrobat 9 displays
correctly.

If you close Tw, reopen it, and load the .tex file again (which should
also bring up the output pdf), does it look right again?
