[texhax] Unnumbered Table of Contents

Hello!  I've looked over your wonderfully informative
site (and tried googling for this) but I haven't been
able to figure out how to produce an unnumbered
table of contents in a report document.
I'm able to get the 2nd, 3rd, etc. pages of the TOC
to be unnumbered, by setting \pagestyle{empty}
at the beginning of the document, but the first
page always has a page number.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
