About texhax	English (USA)
This mailing list is for general TeX questions and discussion, a companion to the Usenet newsgroup comp.text.tex. It was the original TeX mailing list, going back to the 1980's. support@tug.org is an alias for this list. If you're interested in checking or receiving announcements of new packages upload to CTAN, you can subscribe to the ctan-ann mailing list. texhax has hundreds of subscribers, so please take the time to check the FAQ first, as well as any other documentation references. You'll learn more that way, too. Please avoid HTML or other special formats in your message. Plain text is best. More info on writing good questions. Using texhax
To post a message to all the list members, send email to texhax@tug.org. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to texhax
Subscribe to texhax by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
