I recently rewrote the font selection section in _Formatting 
Information_ to list all the TTF/OTF typefaces that should work 
"straight out of the box" for a beginner with a fresh installation of 
TeX Live.

My objective was simply to list all those faces for which a working 
package was included in the installation, so that a new user could see 
the range available, as they typically don't know where to start.
