xdvipdfmx:fatal: invalid offsize data

In the above case, I installed fonts under fonts/truetype/.
I noticed that the suffix was .otf, so I moved into
fonts/opentype/.
Interestingly, this time, xdvipdfmx failed!!
If I remove VF, it became OK.
