I tried by prebuilt fonts in
cantarell-fonts-0.201.tar.xz at
https://sources.voidlinux.org/cantarell-fonts-0.201/

The following worked with xelatex on Windows:

% xelatex
\documentclass[10pt,a4paper]{article}
\usepackage{fontspec}
\setmainfont{Cantarell}

\begin{document}

Write gibberish here.

\end{document}
