Hi,
I have updated from tldevsrc last night.  There are some map files
missing from updmap.cfg:

  mscorevn.map
  chartervn.map
  iwona.map
  kurier.map

I had to remove 

  MixedMap MnSymbol.map

MnSymbol.map is not present in the current texmf tree.  It has been
removed recently, it is in the version I downloaded 3 weeks ago.

There is a problem with updmap itself.  The files in the Master
directory are not writable, of course.

updmap -e copies updmap.cfg to $TMP but it doesn't change the mode
from 444 to 644 before starting the editor.  The same happens with
updmap --syncwithtrees.
