[tex-k] METAFONT/MetaPost: Display-size fonts and limit on numerical values

Of course, it would be 3cm * (magstep6 ==  2.98598) ==  8.95793cm.  At magstep5, ultre still works
and 3cm * magstep5 == 7.46494cm, which is better than 3cm but still not that large for a display font.
Even for a drawing on DIN A3 one might want bigger letters and for a large poster it wouldn't really be enough.
