Exactly!  Please, send/commit the sources.  It is always desirable to
have the real thing.  There is no need to wait for time to make them
"pretty" -- such time is always in short supply.

An unusual sort-of checksum field is used in some .dtx files.  It is not
required, and is definitely not needed for anything related to this
hyphenation project ...
