[pdftex] How to get pdflatex to embed and subset ALL fonts?

Ah, I see.

In that case, your problem might be that you are missing some enc files?
E.g.
  cmr10 CMR10 " TeXf7b6d320Encoding ReEncodeFont " <f7b6d320.enc <cmr10.pfb

I think that I'll send you two things: a new version of pdftex_dl14.map
from the latest teTeX-beta which no longer makes use of these funny
enc files an the enc files themselves (for use with your other
pdftex_dl14.map). Maybe, you can work with that.
