[pdftex] How to get pdflatex to embed and subset ALL fonts?

I do have teTeX-1.0.7. When I found out I didn't have pdftex_dl14.map, 
I simply downloaded it from the web. 

So, it seems that nothing can be done until I upgrade teTeX ? 
Anyway, thanks for helping me realize that.
