[pdftex] How to set page attributes for a group of pages?

\pdfpagesattr sets an attribute for all pages (and \pdfpageattr
sets it for the current page). Is it somehow possible to set an
attribute for a range of pages, i.e. to say 
        attr foo 
        page 1
        page 2
        page 3
        attr bar
        page 4
        page 5
        page 6
so that page 1-3 have attribute foo and 4-6 have attribute bar?
