MacTex and BasicTex installation failed

Hi everyone,

I’m trying to install MacTex or BasicTex on my Intel MacBook running Big Sur 11.7.6 but the installer always fails. I looked at the logs and I can only see the error code 112, but I’ve no idea what it is. The computed md5 hashes match with the ones displayed on the website. What’s strange is that the installer copied the files to /usr/local/texlive/2023 (or 2023basic) but there are no symlinks. I also tried with the 2022 version and I get the same result.

Has anyone encountered something similar or has any suggestion?
