This is probably a terribly naive question, but is there a way to incorporate Latex into email?
(I mean in text, not in an attached pdf.)
I have received email from colleagues with tex-generated text in their text, and have noticed
several relatively low-level (non-email) contexts where one can insert mathematical text essentially in latex format
(Gradescope, Piazza). I use the Mac Mail app for viewing and composing email, and use
both the Outlook server (for my university-related email) and gmail (for personal email).
I found the Tex on Gmail app for Chrome online, installed it, but see no way to actually use it.
If the problem is my Mail app, I could try to switch to another app, but I am an old enough dog that new tricks, well...
