[OS X TeX] i-Installer download questions (problem?)

And it turns out the information is missing from the Help. I need to

Basically, this panel says that i-Installer has analyzed what it  
needs to perform the current action and that everything is available,  
so no downloads are needed. Hence you can ignore (and use the old  
stuff already downloaded), or update (first update the stuff and then  
proceed) or cancle the whole thing.

Note that in this case this is just an analysis for the first step,  
the selection before installation. If you then go on and select  
things that are not available (have not been downloaded yet) you will  
get a panel without ignore and only with cancel and update your choices.

i-Installer will not work with any inconsistent set of internals of  
an i-Package. If the remote is newer it will not do downloads unless  
you update first. It is designed such that a mix of old and new is  
not possible.

Because normally there is a reason why an i-Package provider updates  
an i-Package. E.g. bug fixes etc.

No, it is protected against mixing old and new.

That is what happens here. But i-Installer cannot completely tell at  
this stage if it is suitable as th euser has not made a choice yet  
what to install exactly. Only after that selection has been made is a  
full analysis possible.

For configure and uninstall, there is no selection stage so the  
process is one-step and you can either (if possible) ignore the  
update and proceed or (always possible) update and proceed or cancel.
