[OS X TeX] cmss vs. \sfdefault font question

Howdy,

Hmmm... I wonder... do you have the CMSuper fonts installed on the  
new machine? If not there might be a problem with asking for T1 font  
encoding on cmss. Using \sfdefault would assign the Latin Modern SF  
font as the default font which is T1 compliant.
