[OS X TeX] TexShop engines make me crazy

Howdy,

Not if you are calling simpdftex in your engine. That is a script  
that goes through latex+dvips+distiller. There the native code is eps.

simpdftex latex runs pdftex in dvi mode which duplicates what latex  
does and accepts the same graphics files as latex.
