[OS X TeX] Running makeindex -s from the TeXShop shell

There are some makeindex Applescripts available in TeXShop, e.g.,
makeindexc and makeindexcpl would suit your needs perfectly. The
simplest way to use these scripts would be to rename your .ist file to
german.ist and put in ~/Library/texmf/makeindex.
