[latexrefman] The pair @code{\makeatletter} and @code{\makeatother} changes the default code and then changes it back

I definitely agree with you Denis.

I think that making all the definitions in the preamble just makes
life easier for environments like AUCTeX when you want to make some
region preview.

Maybe we could just say «typically in the preamble»
