[l2h] Long path names?

I'm not seeing the problem with the same version, but
under linux.

Ross: Are the pathnames being used as DB keys to record
which image goes to which stuff ?
I seem to recall that some db versions/platforms/? have
a limit on key length. The same info is recorded in 
images.pl where there should be no inherent length limitation.
