Thanks.  Obviously, something like TeXlive is a huge amount of work and far be it from me to second guess the developers, especially since I'm not volunteering to help.  I was amazed that configure and ./Build worked the first time without any tweaking.  That doesn't just happen.

For me it wasn't a problem but I thought it was worth mentioning because I think many other people would have been put off by the process.  I did notice that there was something about building one package but like most people in a similar situation, I believe, I didn't have the patience to read a long explanation.
