Hi All
This is to introduce myself. I've been using TeX for over 25 years, and for
about half that time I've been the LaTeX expert at the Open University. The
OU is the UK's provider of distance education, and is particularly
attractive to many students with disabilities (because their home is
already adapted).
I met Ross at a TUG conference (Cork, as I recall, in 2008). I met Volker
at the Accessible learning resources in mathematics meeting that Emma
Cliffe organised at Bath in January 2013.

While at the OU I've been involved in math accessibility, including
production methods and TeX to speech. Our most recent innovation is the use
of MathJax in Virtual Learning Environment web pages. This requires MathJax
LaTeX to be supported through the whole of the production process.
best regards
Jonathan
